Congressman Marsha Blackburn Tours WireMasters in Columbia, TN.

Friday, January 29, 2016, WireMasters’ Columbia, TN headquarters received a visit from Congressman Marsha Blackburn. The stop was one of several for the day in this, the 7th Congressional District of Tennessee.  Other dignitaries in attendance for the occasion included Tennessee State Senator Joey Hensley, Columbia City Mayor Dean Dickey, Maury County Mayor Charlie Norman, Spring Hill City Mayor Rick Graham, Spring Hill City Manager Victor Lay, Maury Alliance President Wil Evans, and Maury Alliance Director of Economic Development Travis Groth.

Local and national leaders tour WireMasters, Columbia, TN

WireMasters President and CEO David Hill and members of the WireMasters Management Team welcomed the luminaries with a briefing of the company’s history and mission, followed by a facility tour. The guests were able to see firsthand the inner-workings of a company that has experienced exponential growth since its founding in 1988, along with the important role this small business plays in the supply chain of some of world’s leading defense and aerospace manufacturers.

Before her departure, Congressman Blackburn took time to give a brief legislative update on current issues impacting small businesses and other topics of current national political focus.  WireMasters thanks all those who attended Friday’s meeting and is proud to have been selected as a stopping point for Congressman Blackburn, State Senator Hensley, and the rest of our honored guests.
