This Nashville tradition began in 1961 and has been booming ever since! Although they are known for their outstanding pancakes, there’s nothing on their menu of breakfast items that will leave you disappointed. Perhaps, their famous pancakes, the French toast covered in powdered sugar, or “create your own” omelets. The food is so delicious it often leaves a line of customers wrapped around the building, even when it’s snowing outside. It will be worth your wait, and is a Nashville tradition you don’t want to miss!

Loveless Café

Another Nashville trademark that might keep you waiting is the famous Loveless Café. Trust us, one bite of their biscuits and you’ll forget about your wait!  Featuring  a menu full of true southern cuisine, you’re sure to experience a one of a kind meal! Lon and Annie Loveless began the tradition in 1951 right out of their home serving travelers who passed through. So as you’re passing through, make sure to stop in for brunch for The Loveless experience!

Located in East Nashville, we bet you’ve never had an experience quite like the one you will receive at The Pharmacy. Voted Nashville’s best burger in 2013 and 2014, they use 100% Tennessee-raised beef for all of their burgers. The the most unique Pharmacy facts are their use of 100% pure cane sugar in their old school soda fountain and their homemade condiments.  As if you aren’t already impressed, they claim to offer the most unique beer selection in Nashville. Bottom line,  whether it’s lunch, dinner, or a late night meal, a trip to The Pharmacy will leave your mouth dreaming of those juicy burgers for years to come.

M Street Entertainment

M Street Entertainment owns a variety of the hottest restaurants in Nashville; Kayne Prime, Virago, Whiskey Kitchen, SAINT AÑEJO, Moto, and Tavern. No matter which one you choose you will experience an artful food creation quite like no other. For a nice upscale business dinner you might travel to the chic boutique restaurant Kayne Prime, to experience one of the best mouthwatering steaks, but for all the sushi lovers Virago is a top notch choice. Awarded Best Sushi and Best Interior design, Virago creates an exciting dinner adventure you won’t forget. Located next to Virago, Whiskey Kitchen is the perfect place to kick back and chill.

Across the street from Whiskey Kitchen, is the premiere Mexican restaurant, SAINT AÑEJO. This is not your typical Mexican experience; Mexican cuisine, Latin mixology, and premium tequilas no matter your menu selection, you are guaranteed to love your SAINT AÑEJO experience. The Patterson House 

A hot spot for Nashville locals is The Patterson House. Located in Midtown, Southern Living Magazine stated the vibe is to be nothing short of “Gatsby-and-Governor sophistication.”  This legendary bar is known for its unique experience, famous Tater Tots, and their Smokey Bacon Old Fashioned. Stop by The Patterson House for a fun Nashville experience and make sure to read their House Rules upon arrival!

Jack’s Bar-B-Que

There’s no better way to experience Nashville than on the famous street of Broadway eating  delicious Bar-B-Que. Known for their award winning sauces and hickory smoked meats, all meat is sliced and chopped before serving. You might even notice a pink smoke ring when you receive your food, that’s because all meat is smoked for 18 hours at 250 degrees and then placed directly on your plate. Their “Pit to Plate” procedure helps make their meat finger licking good! If you aren’t near Broadway you can always check out their other Nashville locations, located at 1601 Charlotte Ave or 334 W. Trinity Lane.

Tootsies

The world famous Tootsies is the place to go for a true Nashville Country Music experience. Filled with history, if the walls could talk what stories they would tell. Some of the first customers of Tootsies were industry legends Willie Nelson, Mel Tillis, Waylon Jennings and Patsy Cline. Willie Nelson even received his first songwriting job after performing on the Tootsies stage. You can still find some of Nashville’s best up and coming artists performing at Tootsies. Music begins when the doors open at 10 AM and doesn’t stop until the closing hours of 2 AM. Make sure to visit Tootsies while you’re in Nashville for a bite to eat and a drink while you indulge in the history of Country Music.

Pinewood Social

A café, restaurant, bar, and bowling alley…does it really get much better than that? Located in the old Rolling Hill Mill trolley barns, you can socialize, work, or partake in the delicious southern food, pastries, and pies available. Pinewood social has it all!

Burger Up

This upscale burger joint uses locally sourced ingredients, and are best known for their mouthwatering Bison Burger. The community driven restaurant is perfect for any occasion or individual. As if their delicious burgers aren’t enough, you can try their house made ketchup! Save room for dessert and enjoy the Krispy Crème Donut Pudding.

Merchants

Another Broadway located restaurant, Merchants was an old 1892 hotel that used to offer lodging for 25 cents a night. Legends such as Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Porter Waggoner, Little Jimmy Dickens, and Roy Acuff were just some of the well-known country music stars to stay at the old hotel. The restaurant still has the original marble counters and fireplaces that help hold the history and architecture of the Nashville establishment.

When dining, there are two unique experiences available. The first floor is a casual bistro with all dishes under $20, while the wood paneled second floor is an upscale, higher priced, and distinguished dining experience with a contemporary take on comfort food. No matter which dining experience you choose you’re sure to leave pleased.

Puckett’s Grocery

Derived from a little grocery store back in the 1950’s, Puckett’s Grocery has a general store feel where you will experience southern hospitality with live music performances just steps away from your table. The authentic comfort food is served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. With an industrial feel, all the walls are covered with country music memorabilia such as guitars and pictures. If you make it in for their world famous breakfast, you must not skip over King’s French toast or Bubba’s Eggs Benedict.

City House

The Food Network Magazine chose their signature Belly Ham Pizza for its “50 States, 50 Pizzas” feature, and you can try it at none other than City House located in the heart of Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood.  The restaurants industrial location paired with its house-cured meats, fresh pastas and other rustic Italian recipes make the perfect match.

The Southern Steak & Oyster

Located in the heart of downtown amidst Nashville’s SoBro district, The Southern Steak & Oyster bar will treat you to a unique dining experience. It’s the perfect spot for breakfast or brunch if you want to try their famous Bananas Foster bread pudding, chicken and waffles or Steak Benedict. It’s also a perfect spot for dinner, and it’s become one of Nashville’s renowned eateries featuring their delicious Filet.

Enjoy your favorite sports team, listen to live music, and enjoy some of the best food and drinks in the South! Barlines is located in downtown Nashville and is connected to the Omni hotel, but whether you’re staying at the hotel or not, visiting this bar is a must. Next door to the Country Music Hall of Fame, Barlines features live music 7 days a week from Nashville’s rising stars. Aside from the live music, Barlines is one of the best sports bars in Nashville surround by a number of large televisions, but with an upscale vibe.

Acme Feed and Seed

Fairly new to the Broadway scene, Acme Feed and Seed creates a unique Nashville experience combining the past, present, and future! The 22,000 square ft. building is divided in to three floors and a rooftop deck overlooking Nashville. The first floor hosts live music and serves gourmet style cuisine with two bars, while the second floor is comfortable for group settings to enjoy vintage games, large TV’s, and handcrafted cocktails, all while you enjoying the famous Sam’s Sushi Roll creations. The third and largest floor of Acme F & S is where music events and concerts are held. Although it may be new to Broadway, the Acme experience is a perfect place for a fun time with friends!
